Responsibilities

Know and follow standard work procedures and safety rules for all tasks assigned.

Inspect product for damage and property scan by machine to ensure safe transport and proper placement.
Move controls to operate tugger and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas
Retrieve materials from picking inventory, scan, and follow scanner instructions on screen to lace material in correct location on outbound dock for uploading.

This job operates in a warehouse environment, noise level is high.
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time. Bending and/or reaching may be required.
Personal Protective Equipment must be worn at all times while on Shop Floor to prevent injury to self or others.

Job Purpose:
Operate a powered industrial Forklift to transport materials from loading dock to designated warehouse location or/and around the specific locations in the warehouse due to business needs at the MLC2.

Responsibilities:
- Know and follow standard work procedures and safety rules for all tasks assigned.
- Daily inspection and documentation of the Forklift.
- Inspect product for damage, properly scan by machine or manual entry to ensure safe transport and proper placement
- Move controls to drive propane or electric-powered trucks and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.
- Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.
- Mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, platforms, or other transport vehicles.
Other duties as required.
- Stack materials safely and by Schnellecke standards.

Requirements:
-Must have 1-2 years of Stand-Up Forklift experience (this is not a cherry picker).
- Wear Personal Protection Equipment at all times
- Pass mandatory drug screen
- Operator's license visible at all times
- Complete training and company certification requirements for Forklift operations
- Must be able to pass a background check per Schnellecke Logistics standards.
- Must be able to badge through MBUSI.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on an occasional basis for general purpose of restack to product.
- Must be able to walk up to a mile to job site. Able to sit/stand 10-hour shifts, not including breaks.

Qualifications:

Must have completed a program of physical, occupational or speech therapy education appropriate for preparation as a clinician which is approved by the accreditation board. 

Must hold and maintain a current and valid license by the State of Alabama Board of Physical/Occupational/Speech Therapy as a licensed clinician. 

Maintain CPR certification 

Supervisory experience is strongly preferred. 

Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in order to communicate effectively and tactfully with staff, vendors, and the general public.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Direct Physical Therapy services by developing strategic objectives; providing services; directing staff.

Perform necessary functions for repair of sinkholes and storm drainage infrastructure, and assist other Departmental crews and City Operations as assigned.

Places forms that hold concrete to ensure the required depth and pitch is achieved.

Monitors the effect heat, wind and cold have on curing concrete to ensure high-quality results.

Removes edges on expansion joints and sides.

Installs anchor bolts, steel plates, cuts and ties steel and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete.
Polishes surfaces using smoothing materials, abrasive tools, and surfacing machines.

Aligns forms for sidewalks, curb and gutters.

Waterproofs, damp-proofs and restores concrete surfaces

Forms, pours and finishes concrete for curbs, sidewalks, S-types inlets and builds storm boxes.

Compacts materials using power vibrators to create leveled bases.

Finishes concrete surfaces with rough or smooth pattern depending on project specifications

Signals concrete truck drivers and moving chutes to facilitate pouring concrete onto forms.

Casts and spreads concrete to patch voids

Applies hardening and sealing compounds to cure the surface of concrete

As a service technician, you will travel to many different areas of industry in West Alabama to test and calibrate various types of scale equipment. You will learn on-the-job and handle everything from routine testing to emergency after-hours repairs. Technicians work with our customers to provide timely service using digital diagnostic equipment, power tools, hand tools, and jacks to diagnose and repair industrial scales indoors and outdoors, large and small.
